Meredith Herman is an elite hunter/jumper trainer and competitor. Meredith was born and raised in San Francisco. As a junior rider, Meredith competed in the pony, hunter, jumper, and equitation divisions. Junior highlights include: • West Coast Pony Finals (1st Place) • NorCal Pony Equitation Finals (1st Place) • Zone 10 Rider of the Year (medium ponies, large ponies, and small jr. hunters) • #1 National Ranking for Small Junior Hunters • Top 15 ASPCA MaClay Finals (equitation) • Champion PCHA Finals (equitation) • Year-end Award for High Score at PCHA Finals • Indio Circuit Champion - Junior Jumpers • PCHA Junior Jumper Horse and Rider of the Year |
After graduating from college, Meredith spent two years riding at Gerhard Etter's Swiss training facility. While in Switzerland, Meredith competed at the international level - winning a puissance class. Meredith returned to Northern California and was named the head trainer at Burgundy Farms in 2000. Meredith has developed a dedicated and successful clientele. Her clients have won circuit championship honors at Indio, won the NorCal Medal Finals, and the year-end awards for NorCal, PCHA, USEF, and World Hunter Jumper Association. Currently, Meredith is busy riding at the Grand Prix level, managing a successful international hunter/jumper sales program, and training her junior and adult riders to achieve their riding goals. |
